Submitting your URL to the @UK Travel & Tourist Guide
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: READ CAREFULLY!

Adding your site to the @UK Travel Search Engine is free. We receive well over a hundred submissions a day on @UK, each of which is checked by hand. If we're going to put in our time reviewing your details, you must make sure you spend some time on the submission.

It is very important that you take great care when submitting your site to our search engine. Failure to do so could result in a poor listing or none at all. One of the biggest stumbling blocks is the first part of the form; make sure you are fully aware of the categories that are available - in the vast majority of cases, you should be submitting to the location in which you are based.

The @UK search rankings are based on a variety of factors (search relevance, site quality, etc.); the accuracy with which you complete these forms will also determine how well you do in our search results.

Now that you are aware of this, please begin by completing form 1 (of 2) below:

Select a Category
Select the most relevant category - note that the page takes a few seconds to re-load each time you select a new category,
eg. UK > England > Cumbria > Accommodation
The most common reason for rejection is people not selecting the right category... be sure to get this right!

Top
Website Title
The name of the site you are submitting
- eg. Miller Howe Hotel
Company name only... or you get rejected!

Website URL (including http://)
Your Website address
- eg. http://www.millerhowe.com

Homepage only!
Not the various pages within a domain.

Description of Web site (max 255 characters)
Give a full description and include keywords. Make sure your grammar and spelling is correct or your submission could be rejected! - eg. Miller Howe Hotel and Restaurant, is set in four and a half acres of landscaped gardens above Lake Windermere.
DON'T just write 6 words. Give a proper, gramatically correct description! A lot of submissions go wrong here.

Keywords (max 255 characters)
Separate each keyword/phrase with a comma and space - eg. hotel, hotels, accommodation, lodging, lake district, england, cumbria, windermere, uk
DON'T forget to comma separate keywords. An accurate list of keywords is important in order to be found.
Email Address
Enter a valid e-mail address
- eg. enquiries@millehowe.com

Your First Name
Your first name only
- eg. John

IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE GOING TO NEXT STEP!

A number of people are being lazy with submissions. If the above details are not perfect (including spelling, grammar, etc.), you'll be rejected, so make sure you check everything.
